PopupRoulette

One offer per visit. Never the same one twice.

For sites with more than one thing to say. Make three popups live and each visitor gets one of them at random. Your sale, your newsletter and your new opening hours all get seen, instead of one banner forever.

Free on WordPress.org. No account, no builder to learn.

Three rules

The part other popup plugins skip.

Showing a popup is easy. Knowing when to leave people alone is the work. Each popup gets three rules, and the defaults are polite.

01Where
Everywhere, only on the pages you pick, or everywhere except the checkout. Choose by kind of page, tick specific pages, or write an address with a wildcard like /shop/*.
02How often
Once per visit, out of the box. A visitor who closed a popup is left alone for the rest of the visit, a day or a week. Your call.
03How long
It waits a second, shows a countdown ring on the close button, and leaves after five seconds unless the visitor touches it. All three numbers are yours to change.

Upload an image, or pick a look.

Image mode takes one image and one link, and tall story-format images are shown whole. Want more? Four designed templates, nine bundled fonts, an accent color, and a preview that updates while you type.

PopupRoulette Pro

For popups that have a job to do.

Pro is a separate add-on that sits on top of the free plugin. It adds tabs to every popup: how it looks, when it opens, who sees it, and how it performed. Nothing in the free plugin gets locked.

Sample numbers. Yours are counted on your own site and sent to nobody.

Design
Your own colors for every element. Width, height, corner radius, where the text sits, backdrop color and strength, three entrance animations, custom CSS per popup.
Placement
Centered, a slide-in in either bottom corner, or a bar across the top or bottom. Corners and bars leave the page usable.
Triggers
After a delay, after scrolling part of the page, when the visitor is about to leave, or when a button or link is clicked.
Audience
Phones only or desktop only. Logged-in or logged-out visitors. Campaign rules by UTM tag or by the site they came from.
Schedule
An end date with a live countdown inside the popup, and the days of the week it runs on.
Rotation
A weight from 1 to 10, so your best offer comes up more often. Each popup can carry its own frequency and auto-close time.
Results
Views, clicks and click rate for every popup, counted on your own site. Your own logged-in visits are left out.
Workflow
Duplicate a popup with all of its settings in one click.

Questions people ask first.

How does the rotation decide what to show?

A random pick from the popups that are live and allowed on the current page, with one rule: never the same popup twice in a row. The last one shown is remembered in the visitor's browser, so the rotation works per visitor, even behind full-page caching.

Why does the popup close by itself?

Popups that sit there until dismissed are the reason people hate popups. Five seconds is enough to land the message, the ring makes the timing visible, and a hover or a tap keeps it open. You can change the number of seconds or switch auto close off.

Will it slow my site down?

No. One small stylesheet and one script, no jQuery, and the list of live popups is a single cached option. Fonts load only when a designed popup is live. Nothing is fetched from third parties.

Is it GDPR friendly?

No cookies, no analytics, no calls to outside servers. Two small values stay in the visitor's own browser storage and go nowhere: the last popup shown, and when.

Does Pro replace the free plugin?

No, it sits on top of it. Install PopupRoulette from WordPress.org, upload the Pro zip, enter the license key from your purchase email, and the Pro tabs show up in every popup.

Does it work in Hebrew and other RTL languages?

Yes. The plugin was born on a Hebrew news site. The popup follows the page direction, four of the nine bundled fonts carry a full Hebrew alphabet, and the admin screens are translated to Hebrew.
